Oz 2011 3rd week: Above the clouds and under the surface

Some more snippets from downunder....

Checking out the Blue Mountains and their 3 Sisters.

Hiking down 900 stairs in The Giant Staircase, then 10 km in Crocs (foppatofflor) was something Göran Kropp never got about to do when he was 4 years old.

The view was great!

Down in the jungle we shot a tree bleeding, real blood!

Sara found a funny looking cave.

After climbing it her knees looked like this.

We found a lovely waterfall...

... and another Lookout or five.

Then it was back to the city and Luna Park, Sydney's match to Liseberg/Gröna Lund - and the whole gang in front off the classic entry.

Some off the rides were a bit old school, but certainly fun.

This was Johns favorite.

Sara and dad went wild as usual.

Old school again. Ride number 30 on a really hot day....

At the Aquarium Sara checked out a Great White shark at a distance.
(John didn't even want to be in the picture.)

Instead he found this protective wear.

A Ray the size of a small car!

YouTube Video

At the end we were a little tired....

Then there was a tower we just had to climb. Luckily it had binoculars because it was 306 meters high.

Below the tower Sara fell a bit in love with a guy playing guitar on the street...

... but John knows he left his heart at home!

Over and out from Oz. Next week we are on the camping road trip!

Location:Carawa Rd,Cromer,Australia

John and Sara,

thank you for putting up such lovely photos. We all gather in front of the PC and chat about them here at Myran.

Take care,
Sinead
